Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to SISA ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the SISA mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

SISA is a peer-to-peer barter exchange platform that enables users to list items they wish to trade and connect with other users for mutual exchanges. The Service is provided by The Web Enterprise.

2. Account Terms

By creating an account on SISA, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your profile information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Be solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. SISA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or any applicable laws.

3. Barter Exchange Rules

SISA facilitates peer-to-peer item exchanges. All exchanges are conducted directly between users at their own risk. You agree to:

  • Provide honest and accurate descriptions of items you list
  • Represent the true condition of items (new, used, defective, etc.)
  • Complete exchanges as agreed upon with your swap partner
  • Communicate respectfully with other users
  • Report any suspicious or fraudulent activity to SISA

Important:SISA does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legitimacy of items exchanged between users. All exchanges are undertaken at the user's own risk. We strongly recommend meeting in public places and verifying items before completing an exchange.

4. Prohibited Items

The following items may not be listed or exchanged on SISA:

  • Illegal goods, substances, or materials
  • Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials
  • Counterfeit or stolen goods
  • Adult content or sexually explicit materials
  • Pharmaceuticals or prescription medications
  • Personal information or confidential data
  • Animals or animal products
  • Items that violate intellectual property rights

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including listings, photos, descriptions, and messages. By posting content on SISA, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

You represent that you have the right to share any content you post and that such content does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

6. Verification & Trust

SISA offers phone number verification to help build trust in our community. Verified users have confirmed their identity through OTP verification. However, verification does not guarantee the honesty or reliability of any user.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SISA and The Web Enterprise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Intellectual Property

The SISA name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and graphics are the property of The Web Enterprise. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal information will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Some content may be retained for legal compliance purposes.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
